Biography
Barbara Gordon is your average fifteen year old.
Well, if your average fifteen year old runs around at night dressed in a purple caped and cowled costume, trying to call herself Batwoman when everyone else calls her Batgirl. Though she's prone to falling in love with a new fad every month - it was one of those fads that led her to her calling as Batgirl - the one thing that Barbara's always stuck with is her gymnastics training, mainly because she's going for the gold. Smart and sassy, Barbara loves to read and is slowly gaining an interest in computer sciences - a subject that she finds she has a natural knack for.
Barbara shares a close relationship with her father, Commissioner James Gordon of the Gotham City Police Department - though he doesn't yet know that she masquerades as Batgirl. The only person aware of her secret identity is Batman, who figured it out on Batgirl's first night on the town.

Barbara is taken directly from the end of season three of The Batman, and right before the debut of Robin, the Boy Wonder. She was sent to Fandom because her father - the Commissioner Gordon - wanted Barbara to be going to school somewhere safe and away from Gotham City, where her friends weren't being turned into villains, and where she wouldn't be the target for enemies of her father. Though she isn't happy about it, she's come - along with her Batgirl costume, though she's been cut off from the Bat-Wave and she doesn't have her Bat-gadgets with her.
